It's actually fairly solid and I had some fun with it but the game modes are straight forward and don't really bring anything new into the fray.
Multiplayer has also been added to this sequel but there isn't a whole lot to say about it. I came into the game expecting to be scared out of my wits and was sorely let down. The only thing that made me really jump was one brief visit from the mannequins that haunt me to this day from the original Condemned. This is what ruined the latter parts of the game for me. Unlike the first, which had many memorable moments in the outdoor sections, most of the sequel’s standout sequences take place inside buildings a burning doll factory, a derelict bowling alley, and a wrecked theatre are top of the pile and all build up the tension well throughout. It instead becomes a shoot 'em up that lacks any form of dread and revolves around a disappointing and quirky sci-fi plot. Condemned 2: Bloodshot Xbox 360, PS3 Review Review April 22nd 2008 Thomas McDermott You’ve probably already heard about multiplayer being shoehorned into Condemned 2, and you probably won’t be surprised to hear it’s absolutely pointless. Condemned 2 is still an interesting game though, with many unique settings.
